  • There is no Maximum Annual Contribution . You can contribute as much as you want each Year up to the Lifetime Maximum of $50,000.

  • Contributions are not Tax Deductible.

  • Beneficiaries can receive a Maximum of $500 in Canada Education Savings Grants ( CESGs ) per Year up to the Lifetime Maximum of $7200..

  • Students may access up to $2500 per Academic Quarter as soon as they enroll in College.

  • Interest and Grants are paid out as Education Assistance Payments ( EAPs).

  • Withdrawn Contributions are not Taxed. Grants paid by the Government and accumulated Interest is Taxable to the Beneficiary.

  • Lower Income Families may be eligible for the Canada Learning Bond.
